As an artist, I am commissioned by Art Partner and the VUmc, to work on the question: How to teach cultural sensitivity and empathy to medical students at the VUmc.
Who is the other?

Those questions form the basis of my research and work trajectory at the VUmc, medical university, in Amsterdam.
I have investigated those questions with more than 200 people working and studying at the university and hospital. They also form the basis for two courses given to the 1st and 2nd year medical students. I also designed a booklet with those photos/questions, a list of collected answers to them, and the vision of the university director on cultural diversity and empathy in the educational program at the VU.
